From rock

These lovely cabochons were made by the man who built this website.
Obviously a very clever man.
The border of each cabochon is black jade and the coloured centres are a variety of rocks but one is Mookaite. It is a multicoloured rock and perfect for this type of thing.
One of the vendors here, called Harry, bought a piece of Mookaite from us and came back with this knife he'd flintknapped. He said this is exactly what the native Indians used to make. He also made these knives and arrowheads.
Harry is one of those wonderful characters that keeps everyone here laughing.
Here he is, in the middle.
